Why Do They Call It No-Shave November?
Movember (a portmanteau of the Australian-English diminutive word for moustache, “mo”, and “November“; also known as No–Shave November) is an annual event involving the growing of moustaches during the month of November to raise awareness of various cancers, such as prostate cancer.
How Does No-Shave November Work?
Mo Bros start Movember 1st clean shaven, then grow and groom their moustache for 30 days to become walking, talking billboards for men’s health whilst raising funds and awareness along the way. Women who support Movember, called Mo Sistas.
