In accordance to the Ohio Department of Health, the Belmont County Health Department’s goal is to reduce and eliminate vaccine-preventable diseases among Belmont County’s children, adolescents and adults.
WHAT WE DO
Administer the Vaccines for Children Program (VFC)
The Vaccines for Children Program (VFC) is a federally funded program that provides vaccines at no cost to children 0-18 years who might not otherwise be vaccinated because of inability to pay. The CDC buys vaccines at a discount and distributes them to grantees which in turn distribute them at no charge to clinics registered as VFC providers.
There will be a $21.25 administration fee per vaccines with a max of $50 per child/per visit through the VFC program. No one will be turned away for inability to pay the administration fee.
Administer 317 funded vaccines to eligible uninsured adults 19 years and older.
Administer privately insured vaccines
We accept most insurances
*Cash pay prices are also an option for those who don't have insurance or don't want to have their private insurance billed
