ADOLESCENT HEALTH RESILIENCY (AHR)

The Adolescent Health Resiliency (AHR) Program is an organized community effort that assists with the need of mental health concerns among adolescents that were problematic prior to the COVID-19 pandemic and have had the problems exacerbated by the many associated factors.

The goal of AHR is to equip adults who work with adolescents to be trauma-informed and to provide opportunities for safe and supportive connections to trusted adults within the community. This is done in coordination with internal and external stakeholders that serve groups that are disproportionately affected by poor health outcomes, including, but not limited to, local public health agencies, community health centers, community-based organizations, faith-based organizations, local schools, and other county agencies.
