As healthcare workers, we see many different cultures in our facility daily. The Belmont County Health Department provides high quality care to all types of people. A tele-interpreter language line is available for client/patients with limited English proficiency.
“The ultimate goal is a health care system and workforce that can deliver the highest quality of care to every patient, regardless of race, ethnicity, cultural background, or English proficiency” (Betancourt, Green & Carrillo, 2002)
