RAPID TESTING

Hepatitis C and HIV rapid testing is now available free at the Belmont County Health Department.   HIV testing is offered through a collaboration with the Southeast Regional HIV program. Rapid test results are available in 20 minutes Individuals who are interested must complete a risk assessment required by the Ohio Department of Health. Confidential services include screening and testing, risk reduction planning and referrals for PrEP/PEP and HIV resources.   Hepatitis C testing is made possible through a grant from the Ohio Department of Health. Rapid test results are available in 20 minutes. Services include Hepatitis C testing, prevention education and referrals for confirmatory testing. Individuals who qualify for testing are eligible for a gift card to defray travel costs.   For a list of outreach clinics or to schedule an appointment, contact (740) 695-1202 extension 130 or 140.
